National organisations
Talk to FRANK
Free confidential drugs information and advice 24 hours a day via email or telephone (calls from landlines are free and won’t show up on the phone bill). This is an independent government funded website. All correspondence with Frank is held in the strictest confidence.

The cross-government website to support the National Drugs Strategy and the work of Drug Action Teams. It is designed for drug professionals, but is useful source of information for any interested individual.
NHS Direct
The NHS Direct Wales website contains a wide range of health information, including details of dentists, pharmacies, sexual health clinics and support groups in your area, as well an A-Z encyclopaedia of health.
Alcohol Concern
There is a comprehensive directory of available services for problem drinkers in all areas of England and Wales on the Alcohol Concern website.
Dan 24/7
A free and bilingual telephone drugs helpline, providing a single point of contact for anyone in Wales wanting further information or help relating to drugs or alcohol.
Mind
Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales. They work to create a better life for everyone with experience of mental distress.
Samaritans
Samaritans provides confidential non-judgmental emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide.
Combat Stress
Combat Stress is the leading charity specialising in the care of British Veterans who have been profoundly traumatised by harrowing experiences during their Service career and who are suffering from poor mental health as a result.
SANE line
SANE was established in 1986 to improve the quality of life for people affected by mental illness.
Scottish Drugs Forum (SDF)
SDF is the national non-government drugs policy and information agency working in partnership with others to co-ordinate effective responses to drug use in Scotland.

Holistic support to people on the margins of society. It aims to promote social inclusion.
Mental Health Wales
Providing information on mental health issues throughout Wales.
Turning Point
A social care organisation, Turning Point is a provider of specialist and integrated services that meet the needs of individuals, families and communities across England and Wales.
Cyswllt Contact
A Day Service, providing help, advice and support for people with drug and alcohol problems, and for their families. They are based in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion.
West Wales Action for Mental Health
This is a mental health development project, providing a range of services to voluntary groups, carers and individuals who have used or are using mental health services and living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
Prism
Prism is a community based specialist agency offering free advice, support and information to people with problems related to their or someone else’s use of alcohol.
Rhoserchan
Rhoserchan offer a 12 step based 12-week 1st stage programme of residential rehabilitation for drugs and alcohol. Rhoserchan also offer a 2nd stage programme for those who are experiencing difficulty in maintaining drug free living.
